Meet The Founders
Hani Akiki
Hani Akiki comes from a family deeply rooted in woodworking, where a passion for wood and design was nurtured from an early age. After graduating from university, his interest expanded into a strong appreciation for vintage furniture and restoration, inspiring the idea of creating a space that blends the charm of the old with the craftsmanship of the new. This vision led Hani to create RockFort, a curated living space in the heart of the mountains, featuring unique pieces crafted in-house at the family’s factory alongside thoughtfully selected vintage items. Each creation is either newly made or carefully restored and repurposed, giving new life to materials while honoring traditional craftsmanship. Through RockFort, Hani Akiki continues his family’s legacy, transforming it into a modern expression of artistry, heritage, and timeless design.
