Najjar Modern Mills Company, also known as Matahen Al Najjar Al Haditha, is a family business founded in 1944 in Jdita, a town in the heart of Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley. Over the years, the company has become one of the leading suppliers of food commodities, offering a variety of grains, rice, wheat, and nuts. It is best known for producing Lebanon’s most famous bulgur (burghul) and kishek in bulk quantities using the country’s finest wheat. The company also specializes in Lebanese zaatar, spices, and traditional herbal distillates.
